Our Story: Passion, Dedication, and Vision Across Three Generations
Founded in 1959 by Alois Kracher Sr., the estate’s potential for world-class sweet wines was first realized by his son, Alois Jr., whose pioneering spirit and winemaking brilliance propelled Kracher onto the international stage. Since 2007, the estate has been under the leadership of third-generation winemaker Gerhard Kracher. Dynamic and forward-thinking, Gerhard continues the family legacy with unwavering commitment to our legendary sweet wines, while also expanding our portfolio to include elegant dry wines that appeal to a broader audience.

Corney & Barrow will carry our top-selling sweet wines, as well as a selection of dry wines, drawing on Austria’s classic grape varieties. The company will also have access to limited allocations of Kracher’s highly sought-after older wines, produced in tiny quantities.
